Win prizes and help our community! Digital Citizenship (responsible technology use) is an important topic today, as we all know. Help us get the word out by creating a Public Service Announcement! This announcement can be in the form of a video, poster, website, or podcast. You can choose an aspect of digital citizenship (cyber bullying, peer to peer file sharing, identity theft, etc.) and create a PSA (Public Service Announcement). Winning video entries will be aired on PegTV and possibly WCAX as well. There are also lots of prizes. Deadlines for works to be announced after winter break. For more information or a complete set of rules, please contact Mr. Batschelet at rbatschelet@arsu.org Be creative and have some fun! Good luck!
The purpose of Benson Village School is to provide a safe educational setting and quality educational services. Programs will be designed to support each student’s needs in order to assist them in reaching their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. The teachers strive to build upon each student’s natural curiosity to become a self-motivated, life-long learner, who will be a contributing member of society.

Our eighth graders are working very hard to raise enough money for all students to be able to go to Washington DC in May. We have a class of 17, and we are in need of donations this year more than ever. Look for our fundraisers advertised in the Benson Bulletin, at the stores, and other area newspapers. If you can support our eighth graders, it would be much appreciated. If you can’t make it to a fundraiser, donations in any amount are gratefully accepted.
Our yearbook staff is working hard on this year’s yearbook. We have both soft and hard cover yearbooks available this year. Orders are due by January 28th.
Check our website regularly for more events and information on all the happenings at BVS!
