Notes From The Principal

Dear Parents and Website Visitors:

Welcome to the Benson Village School website!

We closed out 2015 with a “Clash of Coins” where students brought in coins and competed for the most coins deposited in a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House.  We are happy to report we raised over $370 for this cause!  Also donated were food items.  Mr. Clark and Mrs. Wolcott led this fundraiser and took a ride to Burlington, along with three middle school students, to present these donations to the folks at the Ronald McDonald House.  We are so proud of our students for their efforts to raise this money!

Congratulations goes out to Sam St. Peter, a fifth-grader at BVS.  He is now a published author!  Last year, 4th graders submitted poems in a contest, and Sam’s was picked to be published in a book of poetry, Eloquence.  Good for you, Sam!

2016 looks to be another great year at BVS.  Check out our calendar to be well-informed of activities and important dates during the school year.  Happy 2016 to all!
